Intentional Counseling and Wellness was created around the idea of intention. As a therapist, with each session I set an intention to be present, non-judgmental, ethical, and authentic. My ideal client sets the intention to come to therapy and do the work, whatever that may look like for each individual client. I acknowledge that there is no therapy if you, the client, are not invested in this process, and I honor your intention to be vulnerable and seek growth.
Therapy is about the relationship between human beings. But the essence, the center, is you – the client. The journey towards change always begins with intention and courage – the courage to seek help, to tell your story, to believe that it will get better. I am here to meet you where you are, and I would be honored to support you in your journey from intention to hope.
